Working on the project with the idea of deconstructing, subverting and reconstructing an archetype the MA1 bomber jacket that earned its stripes in the Vietnam War. This 60 year old garment that has appeared in every single era since then, and adopted by every sub-culture has never altered its fundamental appearance, but this was about to change.
What followed is genius and The MA1-Reinvented using no more than the very same pattern pieces that created the original jacket we know and love came into being and the designer I wanted to be was born.

Without a doubt MA1-R will be fun to wear, funky, free-spirited and will definitely bring something old and something borrowed, to make something new and something now.
It is still reversible like the original MA1 bomber but is now in 2 parts. A cropped jacket and pants with a unique difference. The jacket can also be worn upside down.
The pants created from nothing more than the jacket pieces, can not only be worn inside out, but back to front and the legs are interchangeable. The NEW and improved MA1 just got real!

Everything has been carefully considered including a flight tag patented with your own personal quote which will not be available to any other customer.
The long pants and cargo length versions are shown here. The long version is on the reverse side which is in a quilted fabric and also waterproof. The cargo version shows the main side. If you get caught in a rain shower you can simply turn them inside out.
